Mr. Ralph Edward Johnson, 83 of Hamburg, AR, died Tuesday, March 3, 2014 at his residence. He was a native of Crossett, AR, and a resident of Hamburg. He was a retired shipping clerk for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill, a member of Cloverdale Assembly of God and served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Fulton & Cleo Sutton Johnson, two brothers, Alton & Lane Johnson, five sisters: Jean, Jane, Ione, Thelma & Elvie Johnson. Ralph enjoyed raising cattle & hogs. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt & fish.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Clark Johnson, four sons, Joey Johnson, wife Karen & Dusty Johnson wife Erin both of Crossett, AR, Kerry Johnson & Mark David both of Hamburg, AR, one brother, Dewain Johnson, wife Dorothy of Hamburg, AR, one sister, Laverne Johnson of Marianna, AR, six grandchildren: David Lee, Andrew, wife Jennifer Johnson, Kallina Johnson, Amy Campbell, Alicia Ratliff, husband Joe & Micky Kinney, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with Bro. John Martin & Bro. Zac Coffman, officiating. Pallbearers are Bob Sellers, Ronnie McDonald, Jeff King, Rusty Little, Leroy Jones & Kavin Burnett. Honorary pallbearers are James Harrington, Billy Harrington, Charlie Courson & Kenny Rusthell. Burial in Arkadelphia Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
