Mr. Plez Anthony Rance Jr., 80 of White Hall, AR, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the White Hall Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Rance was a native of Crossett, AR, a retiree of the U.S. Army and a member of the Gates Chaple AME Church in Crossett.

He is preceded in death by his parents Plez and Elener Scales-Rance; two brothers: Willie Ed and George Rance; three sisters: Ollie Mae Rance, Margaret Deloney and Annie Mae Tharpe. Mr. Plez loved to watch political events unfold on CNN. If he was not on the lake fishing, he watched Fishing and Wild Life on TV.

He is survived by one son: Plez Rance III, wife Michelle of Leonardtown, MD; three daughters: Wanda McQueen, husband Michael of Atlanta, GA; Pierette Walton, husband Kevin; and Natasha Rance all of Glen Burnie, MD; stepchildren: Deborah Collins of Dallas, TX and John Pegram, wife Carol of Petersburg, VA; one brother: Donald Rance, wife Sue of San Leandro, CA; one sister: Abbie Cone, husband Charles of Pine Bluff, AR; four grandchildren: Michael II and Malik McQueen, Tremanye Walker Jr. and Pierette Walton; special nieces and nephews: Marvalyn Mosby, husband Vic; Bernard Tharpe, wife Anika; LaShanda White, and April Danzy, special friends: Linda Watkins and Kristy Brown; and a host of other family and friends.

Services are 11:00AM Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Gates Chapel AME Church, with Brother Tyrone Broomfield, officiating. Pallbearers are his nephews. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
