Obituary

Mr. Phillip "Phil" Williams, 68 of Crossett, AR, died Friday, May 27, 2011. He was a native of Ingalls, AR in Bradley County, a retiree of G.P. Paper Mill and a member of Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Quinny Williams and Lula Hargraves Williams Atkins, his step-father, T.J. Atkins, three brothers: Jefferson and Edward Williams and Darrell Atkins. Phil loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved working his vegetable garden.

He is survived by four sons: Santario Williams, wife Denisha of Crossett, AR, Phillip Todd Williams, wife Kisiah of Glendale, AZ, Michael Williams, wife Amber of Albuquerque, NM, and Delvin Williams, wife Valerie of Crossett, AR, three daughters: Loria Robinson of Dallas, TX, Kerri Rochelle of Crossett, AR and Phyllis Sharkey, husband Darrell of Bastrop, LA, three brothers: Alma Williams, wife Janice, Alfred Williams and John Williams all of Dallas, TX, five sisters: Annie Jean Johnson, Ethel Dean Williams, and Fannie Bell Sedberry all of Crossett, AR, Susan Price Ford, husband Freddie of Lake Mary, FL, and Patricia Williams of Dallas TX, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Tyrone Broomfield and Rev. Harold White officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Smith, Manuel Boston, Michael Thompson, Kenny Griffin, Felton Tatum and Corey Rochelle. Honorary pallbearers are the T.W. Daniels Class of 1962. Visitation Wednesday, June 1 from 6-7 pm at Cromwell. Burial in Westview Cemetery.
