Patrice Harper, 53 of Bastrop, LA, transitioned, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of St. Louis, MO, but grew up in Crossett, AR. She was a graduate of Crossett High School Class of 1991, and a member of Grace Pointe Church in Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Lee Howell (2005), and a sister Wendy Washington. Patrice was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping, couponing, and playing video games.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Cornell Harper of Bastrop, LA, one son, Cornell L. Harper and wife Jessica of Bossier City, LA, four daughters, Wendy Harper, Alice Harper, Lashunti Harper and Kalice Harper all of Bastrop, LA, her mother, Ruth Ann Howell of Crossett, AR, three brothers, Warren Washington and Eulus Washington both of Crossett, AR, and Patrick Wilson of Springdale, AR, two grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Cromwell Funeral Home from 5:00-6:30 P.M. Funeral service is Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Grace Pointe Church 3400 Forsythe Ave. in Monroe, LA with Bishop Marcus Williams officiating. Honorary pallbearers are members of CHS Class of 1991. Services held under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
