Pastor Eddie Lee Block, age 64 of Crossett, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a native of Warren, AR but a resident of Crossett for the past 41 years.  He was a comp 1 boiler maintenance supervisor for Georgia Pacific.  He was a member and co-pastor of Life Blood Ministry Church of Life in Bastrop, LA and an avid deer hunter.

Pastor Block was preceded in death by one son, Marcus Brian Block; his parents, Gilbert and Leola McNair-Block; two brothers, Clarence Block and Otis Ingram; one sister, Bessie Mae Block.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Crane-Block; one son, Edward Block (Bianca) of Conway, AR; one daughter, Genoria Elizabeth Crain Block of Jacksonville, AR; one brother, Gilbert Kelly Block of Flint, MI; one sister, Mae Catherine Williams of Monticello, AR; two grandchildren, Mya Kay Block and Nyla Elise Block, both of Conway, AR.

Services will be 1:00PM on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Life Blood Ministry Church of Life with co-pastor Marilyn Block officiating. Burial in Westview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Edward Block, Denzel Quinones, Montell Quinones, Latoria Bolden, Marvin Junior and Mike Sutton.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Duckworth Hunting Club.  Visitation is Friday from 5:30-6:30PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
