Mrs. Pamela Martinez, 62 of Portland, AR, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was a native of Stringtown, MS, was a homemaker, and was a member of Brown Temple Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Golden Lancaster, and her step-father, Eddie Stewart, Jr. Pamela never had any biological children, but was a mother to all children she came in contact with. She was very close to and loved her family very much.
She is survived by her mother, Melvina "Dollie" Stewart, six brothers: Willie Lancaster & Darnell Lancaster, wife Mary all of Montrose, AR, Rev. Walter Lancaster, wife Mary Ann, Eddie Stewart III & Albert Stewart, wife Marcella all of Portland, AR & Melvin Stewart, wife Shirleen of Lancaster, CA, two sisters, Ella Frazer, husband Edward of Bastrop, LA & Susie Rollins, husband Carl of Wilmot, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Unity Temple C.O.G.I.C. with Rev. Brandon Bolden, officiating. Active pallbearers are Quincy Spells, Quincy Spells, Jr., Edward Frazier, Jr., John Brown, Larry Robinson & Louis Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Hampton & Larry Butone. Burial in Montrose Cemetery.
Visitation Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6-7 pm in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
