Mr. Otis Bryon Monday, age 88, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Stonegate Villa Nursing Home in Crossett.  A native of Texarkana, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 20 years, Mr. Monday was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Martha Helen Christman-Monday; one daughter, Felecia Kaye Monday-Felts; his parents; two brothers, Daryal and Jimmy Monday and one sister, Ann Monday.

Mr. Monday was a welder by trade and enjoyed playing his guitar and woodwork. He was also an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by one son, Ray Monday of Edgewater, FL; one daughter, Brenda Gail Henderson (David) of Sherman, TX, six grandchildren, Adam Henderson, Mark Henderson, Robert and Chris Felts and Sonny and Jason Monday as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Cemetery with Brother Carlton White officiating. Burial will follow at the Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday morning prior to the service from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery.
