Mr. Orlando Christopher Days, 52, of Little Rock, AR, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the Arkansas Hospice Facility in Little Rock. He was a native of Wilmot, but a resident of Little Rock for the past 25 years, worked as a custodian at the Philander Smith College, and a member of First Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Myles; his father, Guy Lee Beverly; one sister, Yolanda Russell; and one brother, Andre Beverly. Orlando was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed watching football, basketball, and most sports, watching old Western movies, and playing Dominos with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sherron Brown-Days; one son, Cornelius Singleton, wife Whitney, of Monticello, AR; three daughters, Lashontae Sherrer, of Dallas, TX, Sharonda Singleton, and Larhonda Singleton, both of Monticello, AR; one step-son, Corrie Orange, of Wilmot, AR; one step-daughter, Tequila Orange-Cornell, of Little Rock, AR; four brothers, Tommy Russell, of Toledo, OH, Larry Belleton, wife Betty, of Scotts, AR, Elroy Beverly and Michael Beverly, both of Sioux Falls, SD; five sisters, Alethea Curenton, of St. Joe, MO, Rowena Days, of Toledo, OH, Wanda Ramie, of LaGrange, GA, Michelle Kayne, husband Marcus, of El Dorado, AR, and Renae Knucklon, of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a special nephew more like a brother, Ted Turner, of Euless, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Service will be Saturday March 30, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at First Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR, with Rev. Albert Fenceroy officiating. Pallbearers are Paul Strickland, Lamont Williams, John Metcalf, Reggie Fowler, Jimmy Stanley, and Troy Stanley, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Belleton, Elroy Beverly, Michael Beverly, Tommy Russell, Cornelius Singleton, Edward Orange, and Zachery Orange. Burial in Second Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2019, 6:00-7:00 P.M., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. in Hamburg, AR.
