Mrs. Ollie Mae Griffin age 90 of Crossett, AR died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Hamburg, AR but a resident of Crossett most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Quinn Chapel AME Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John Griffin in 2010. Her parents Elijah and Roxie Ann Cain-Jimerson. Three brothers; John Lewis Jimerson, Clemon Jimerson, and Emmitt Jimerson. Eight sisters; Sarah L. Smith, Ethel Wills, Lottie Vurgest, Pearline Tyson, Vashtie Johnson, Beatrice Allen, Easter Swain and Verdel Lowe. Mrs. Griffin was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing and cooking.

She is survived by three sons; Oliver Eugene Griffin, Spencer Donzell Griffin, both of Crossett and Freddie Griffin, wife Bonnie of Monticello. Two daughters Merkia Key of Crossett, AR and Linda Griffin of Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral Service will be Friday March 10, 2017 at 11:00am at Quinn Chapel AME Church with Reverend Marvin Scott and Pastor Brandon Sims officiating. Pallbearers are Alex Brown, Cornelius Girtman, Jimmy Griffin, Fredie Hargraves, Ken Tolefree, Leslie Tolefree.  Honorary Pallbearers are Quinn Chapel Church Stewards and Trustee's, Johnnie C. Gaston, Clemon Perry Jimerson Sr., Clemon Perry Jimerson, Jr.  Burial in Westview Cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 1:00PM - 6:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home.
