Mr. Oliver DC Moseley, Jr., 80, of Lake Village, AR died Monday, October 12, 2020 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was a native of Lake Village, AR, a former resident of Chicago, IL, and a welder. Oliver confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.L. Carter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver DC Moseley, Sr. and Mary Lee Anderson Moseley; one brother, Lezear Moseley, Sr.; two sisters, Evelyn Moseley-Brooks and Lillie Moseley-Jackson. Oliver loved family gatherings, cooking and going to church. He enjoyed having fun with family and friends by telling jokes and making them laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Meredith Moseley; one son, Darryl Moseley, wife Carol, of Warner Robins, GA; three daughters, Delores and Lisa LeSure, of Chicago, IL, and Sharon Wilcox, husband Daniel, of Warner Robins, GA; four brothers, Jessie Moseley, wife Gertrude, of Bedford, IN, Bobby Moseley, wife Josie, of Los Angeles, CA, Benny Moseley, of Lake Village, AR and Roy Moseley, wife Jennifer, of Greenville, MS; four sisters, Rev. Ethel Shannon, of Westchester, IL, Gladys Jackson, husband Ira, of Crossett, AR, Berlinda Cole, husband James, of Lake Village, AR, and Doris Woods, husband Lorenzo, of Wilmot, AR; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 17, 2020, 11 a.m., at New Cemetery, Lake Village, AR with Rev. Glenn McJoy officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are James Cole, Darryl Moseley, Benny Moseley, Lorenzo Woods, Billy Perry, and Raymond Clark.
Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2020, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
