Mr. Nathan Henry Tanksley, 54 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center. He was a Crossett resident, a disabled logger and was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church in Crossett, AR.
Mr. Tanksley was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Travis & Mary Maudie Lee Hennington Tanksley, one brother Jerry Dewayne Tanksley, his brother-in-law, Wayne Johnson, his father and mother in-law, Kenny & Helen Morris. Nathan was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing & hunting.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Michelle Tanksley, one son, Nathan Henry Tanksley, wife Hope of Hamburg, AR, one daughter, Stephanie Lynn Carrion, husband Rudy of Crossett, AR, four brothers: Willie Tanksley, wife Dona of Stuttgart, AR, Terry Tanksley, wife Cheryl of Bastrop, LA, Frankie Tanksley and Phillip Tanksley, wife Jackie all of Crossett, AR, three sisters, Shelby Parker, husband Carroll, Cathy Johnson & Donna Johnson, husband Tim all of Crossett, AR, three grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie and Matthew Tanksley and a host of nieces, nephews, family and loved ones.
Funeral services are Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at New Life Pentecostal Church with Bro. Ricky Pack & Bro. Norman Riordan officiating. Pallbearers are Dennis Murphy, Rodney Austin, Darren Minnieweather, Jarrett Sams, Jonathan Lum & Chad King. Honorary pallbearers are nephews. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
