Mrs. Narvie Lee Ferrell, 77 of Crossett, AR, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a native of Bonita, LA, and a Crossett resident for the past 62 years. She was co-owner and office manager of Ferrell House Moving Company, and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Mrs. Ferrell was very active in her church, formerly serving as Sunday school teacher and working with the Senior Citizens until her health failed. Throughout the years she also worked with Easter Seals and the March of Dimes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Samuel Clarence "S.C." Ferrell on June 18, 2002, her parents, Aubrey and Rosie Armstrong Sims, and one brother, James Sims.

She is survived by one son, Mark Ferrell of Crossett, AR, three brothers: Huey Sims, wife Mary Ann of Monroe, LA, Bobby, wife Martha of Alexandria, LA, Charles Sims, wife Kay of Bastrop, LA, two sisters: Nancy Fincher, husband Joe of Beebe, AR, Linda Fletcher, husband James of Morrilton, AR, one granddaughter, Aja Ferrell Peters, husband Daniel of Hamburg (Milo Community) and one great granddaughter, Cailee Peters.

Funeral services are Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with Dr. L.H. McCollough and Bro. Eric Hodge officiating. Visitation Friday, February 10, 2012 from 7-9 pm at Mt. Olive. Pallbearers are Daniel Peters, David Peters, Wade Fincher, Royce Cabbiness, Steve Pogue and Mike Fulgham. Burial in Pinewood Memorial Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR. Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church,c/o Vicki Shirley 1533 Highway 52 W
