Obituary

Mr. Milton Warren Couser, Jr., 73 of Crossett, AR, died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Pinewood Health and Rehabilitation. He was a native of Hermitage, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 68 years. He was a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill, and a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one son, Robert Martin, his parents, Milton & Louise Bradley Couser. He enjoyed watching football, the New Orleans Saints were his favorite team. He also enjoyed playing dominoes and listening to music.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cora William Couser, two sons, Tony Couser and Derrick Couser, wife Teresa both of Crossett, AR, two step-sons, Fred Haynes of Phoenix, AZ and Harvey Williams, wife Lisa of Las Vegas, NV, two daughters: LaJetta Tate, husband Jeffrey and Audrey Tucker, husband Lawrence both of Crossett, AR, three brothers: Willie Ray Couser, wife Mable of Crossett, AR, Bennie L.Couser, wife Liz of Monroe, LA, Carlos Couser of Kansas City, MO, four sisters: Eula Mae Powell, husband Richard of Omaha, NE, Ruth Love, Carolyn Walker, husband Bruce and Joyce Gray all of Kansas City, MO, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces,nephew other loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 11:00 am at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Radford, Jr., officiating. Active pallbearers are Milton Gaston, Charles Moore, Leroy Patton, Willie Ashford, Freddie Hargraves & Gareil Tucker. Honorary pallbearers are the T.W. Daniel Class of 1960. Burial in Westview Cemetery.

Viewing from 12 to 5 pm Wednesday, November 18 at Cromwell Funeral Home.
