Michael Elvis Jordan, 67, of Lake Village, AR transitioned on Monday June 1, 2026, at his home in Lake Village, Arkansas. He was a native of Lake Village where he spent most of his life rooted in family and hard work. Michael will be remembered for his humor, strong work ethic, and his love of outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his life partner, Diann; his parents, Alfred and Odessa Pugh Jordan; his son, Rodney Jordan; and his siblings, Mary Lee Scott, Alfred (Earl) Jordan, Jr., Charles (Flam) Freeman, Sr., and Dennis Ray Jordan, Sr. (Lori). He enjoyed hunting, following sports, reading the newspaper, and tracking the weather.
He is survived by three daughters, Summer Wilson (Anthony) of Madison, AL, Shamika Caldwell and Jessica Robinson both of Lake Village, AR; one son, Kevin McCree of Monroe, LA; one sister, Bobbie Jordan Carr of Lake Village, AR; one brother Tommy Lee Jordan (Diana) of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Sydney Wilson, Anthony Wilson, Jr., Marcus McCoy, Jr., Malik McCoy, Kenslei Anderson, and Kyecia McCree; a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR with Elder Sederick Webb officiating. Pallbearers are Christopher Carr, Kyrin Carr, Maurice Freeman, Edward Freeman, Sr., Charles Henry and Willie Lee Block. Burial will follow at New Cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
