Mrs. Mary Smith, 65 of Crossett, AR, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a former telephone operator, a beautician for 30 years and was the owner of Mary's Glamorama. She was a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess. Mrs. Smith loved fishing and playing dominos.

She was preceded in death by one son, Cedric Smith, her parents, Mitchell & Annie Bea Perkins Scott and one sister, Rose Scott Hampton.

She is survived by her husband of 45 and a half years, Mr. Donald J. Smith, three sons: Dallas "D.L." Smith of Pine Bluff, AR, Donald Smith, Jr. of Crossett, AR & Kuyunnie Smith, wife Kristine of Rowlett, TX, two daughters, Katrina Smith Williams of Crossett, AR and DaShonda Smith Johnson of Hot Springs, AR, three brothers: Mitchell Scott, Jr., wife Brenda of Jacksonville, AR, James Scott, wife Cynthia of Little Rock, AR & Eddie J. Scott, wife Clarice of Jacksonville, AR, six sisters: Linda Ellis, husband Glenn, Marilyn Whaley, husband Carl, Vera Scott & Michelle Bradford, husband Audwin all of Crossett, AR, Pernilla Smith, husband Walter of Louisville, KY and Emma Tate of Camden, AR, nineteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Walter Smith, officiating. Active Pallbearers are Lorenzo Smith, Jelani Williams, T.J. Williams, Brian Carlock, Steven Johnson & Dallas Smith, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Smith, Jr., Kuyunnie Smith, James Scott, Dallas Smith, Mitchell Scott, Jr. & Eddie Scott.
