Mrs. Mary Lavell Pollan, age 76, of Jacksonville, AR formerly of Crossett, AR passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation in Crossett, AR. She was a native of Crossett, a homemaker, and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Dee Pollan, her parents, Charlie Bomar and Bessie Mae Pennington-Stanley, four brothers, Lincoln, James, Roland, and Wayne Stanley, three sisters, Helen, Dorothy, and Brenda Sue Stanley. Mrs. Pollan was a very dedicated woman who supported her husband throughout his 22 years in the United States Air Force. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time supporting her husband and children in Scouting and all other activities. She loved to garden and was particularly gifted at it. She was a joy to be around.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Dee James Pollan of Searcy, AR; William Pollan wife Carlyne of Melbourne, FL; three brothers: Kenneth Stanley, Herman Stanley wife Jessie, Lowell Stanley wife Allene all of Crossett, AR; two sisters: Pauline Virginia Johnson, Joyce Fran Wilcox husband Gordan all of Crossett, AR; two grandchildren: Hailey and Alex Pollan, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1533 Highway 52 W, Crossett, AR 71635 with Bro. Eric Hodge, officiating.
