Mary Catheryn Johnson, age 54, of Crossett, AR passed away Friday, February 03, 2017 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a former Sales Clerk at Walmart and a member of First Freewill Baptist North Crossett.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Larry Wayne Johnson, her parents, Willie and Mary Hennington-Tanksley, two brothers, Jerry and Nathan Tanksley. Mrs. Johnson enjoyed family and especially her grandchildren. She loved listening to gospel and country music.

She is survived by two daughters, Leann Sams husband Jarrett, Mary Lou Clark husband Kason all of Crossett, AR; four brothers: Willie Tanksley wife Dona of Stuggart, AR; Terry Tanksley wife Cheryl of Bastrop, LA; Frankie Tanksley wife Trisha, Phillip Tanksley wife Jackie all of Crossett, AR; two sisters: Shelby Parker husband Carroll, Donna Sue Johnson husband Tim all of Crossett, AR; six grandchildren: Cydnee King, Chloe King, Colton King, Taylor Lively, Kaylee Lively and Jaylan Sams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at New Life Pentecostal Church of God, 809 South Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., Crossett, AR 71635 with Bro. Billy Rath and Bro. Ronnie Pack, officiating. Pallbearers are John Parker, Ricky Hopper, Daniel Warren, J.R. Tanksley, Rusty Tanksley, and Gordon Edwards. Burial in Promise Land Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 3:00PM-5:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
