Mrs. Mary Lois Hill, 74 of Camden, AR, formerly of Carthage, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Mrs. Hill was a native of Carthage, AR, but a resident of Camden for the past 4 years. She was a retiree of Kohler, and a member of Trinity C.O.G.I.C. in Fordyce, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hill, Jr., her parents, John Peter & Lydia Cromwell Ledbetter, two brothers, James & Moses Ledbetter and one sister, Frances Harris.

She is survived by one son, Elliot Dean Hill of Carthage, AR, two daughters, Angela Diane Johnson of Camden, AR & Ellen Weathers of Fordyce, AR, one step-daughter, Martha Ann Lawson of Ackron, OH, one brother, Mark Ledbetter of Prattsville, AR, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Faith COGIC, with Supt. Thomas Walker, officiating. Pallbearers were Paul Dunn, Chris Phillips, Freddie Jacobs, Donnie Griffin, James Lee & Nekko Westbrooks. Burial in Hampton Springs Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
