Mrs. Mary Dean Griffin, 68 of Hamburg, AR, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. Mrs. Griffin was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a homemaker, and a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance. She was preceded in death by two daughters: Sandra & Gloria Soles, her parents, Amos & Beadie McQuay Morgan and one brother, Worthy Morgan.

Survivors include one son, Nikkea (Gwen) Bryant of El Dorado, AR, three grandchildren she raised as her own: Lazarus "Ra-Ra" (Amy) Tucker, Tasha (Antonio) Peoples & Tamarrian Soles all of Hamburg, AR, three brothers: R.D. Morgan of Hamburg, AR, Rev. Andrew (Ruthie) Morgan & Rev. Aaron (Myrtis) Morgan all of Milwaukee, WI, four sisters: Flora (David) Miller & Faye Collins all of Hamburg, AR, Othello Yates of Indianapolis, IN & Peggy (Willie) Williams of Milwaukee, WI, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance with Pastor Mary Arnold, officiating. Visitation from 6-7 PM at Cromwell. Pallbearers are Robert Stanley, Glenn Stanley, John Bradshaw, Brandon Johnson, Edward Morgan, David Miller, Kintus Mooney & Timothy Downs. Honoray pallbearers are nephews. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
