Evangelist Mary Franklin, 75 of Monticello, AR, transitioned Thursday,  March 6, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was a native of Fountain Hill, AR, a resident of Lacey, AR, a member of House Of Prayer Ministries, and a retiree of Burlington Carpet Factory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Porter Franklin, Sr., two sons, John Porter Franklin, Jr. and Undra Lambert, Sr., three sisters, Dorothy Veasey, Linda Daniels, and Barbara Lambert, two brothers, William Lambert and James Lambert. Mrs. Franklin loved attending church, and she created a warm, welcoming atmosphere in her home for her children, grandchildren, and anyone who needed a helping hand. She was an excellent cook and was very enthusiastic about it.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Deverick Franklin and wife Clare of Lacey, AR, Alfonzo Franklin and wife Amber of Sterlington, LA, Tyrone Franklin and wife LaTeasha of Lacey, AR, one daughter, Tonya Spencer and husband Jonathan of Monticello, AR, two brothers, Joe Lambert of Lacey, AR, Waymon Lambert and wife Trudie of Milwaukee, WI, six sisters, Vera Dotson of Houston, TX, Louise Miller of Fountain Hill, AR, Doris Franklin of Monticello, AR, Marilyn Kay Jones of Monticello, AR, Pamela Lambert of Fountain Hill, AR, and Shirley Benton of Monticello, AR, a special friend Candace Parker, nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is Friday March 14, 2025, from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Saturday March 15, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at House Of Prayer with Pastor Daryle Daniel, Jr., officiating. Active Pallbearers are Keith Morisette, Don Tray Morisette, Jeremiah Daniels, Terrance Daniels, Kirby Don Franklin, and Eddie Davidson. Honorary Pallbearers are Deverick Franklin, Jr., Jalen Franklin, Alfonzo Franklin, Jr., Parker Franklin, Don Tavia Clary, Tryone Franklin, Jr., and Peyton Lambert. Burial in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello, AR under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
