Mrs. Mary Fowler, age 85, of Wilmot, AR, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at her home in Wilmot. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by three sons, James Metcalf, Larry Smith and Lonnie Smith; her parents, William and Maggie Mullen-Porch; one brother, Leroy Porch; three sisters, Mattie Porch, Lucille Goodlow and Classey Leonard.

Mrs. Fowler was an inspiration to all who knew her. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing, gardening and working all kinds of puzzles. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great-grandmother.

She is survived by five sons: Roosevelt Smith, Jr., wife Virginia of Sherwood, AR; Herbert Fowler of Bastrop, LA; Dennis Fowler, wife Erica; Vincent Fowler, wife Sandra all of Grandview, MO; Willie Fowler of Wilmot, AR; one daughter: Mary Smith, husband Donnie of Eudora, AR; one brother: Joseph Peter Porch, wife Donnie Mae of Los Angeles, CA; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren a host of other family and friends.

Services are 11:00AM Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Morning Star Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR, with Rev. Eddie D. Montgomery and Rev. Ambrose Dozark, officiating. Pallbearers are her grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are Deacons and Trustees of Morning Star Baptist Church. Burial in St. Martha Cemetery in Wilmot, AR.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 5:30pm–7:00pm at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
