Obituary

Mr. Marvin Lewis Harris "Mad Dog", 62 of Crossett, AR, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, AR. He is a lifelong resident of Crossett, was a Crossing Guard for several years and a member of the Living Word Church of God in Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents Adrian and Lou Willie Callins-Harris, one brother: Alonzo "Pete" Harris. Marvin loved all children, coaching baseball and boxing; he enjoyed people, playing dominos and music.

He is survived by two sons: Marcus Johnson of Euless, TX; Marcell Harris of El Dorado, AR; one daughter: Arbrina Harris of Arlington, TX; one sister: Patricia Harris of Killeen, TX; seven grandchildren: Chelsie Ware, Chelsea Harris, Arenna Harris, LaDalvin Gissipon Harris, Aubrey Oliver, Angela Harris, La'Nita Trufillo; two special friends: Lula Mae Smith, Larry McPhearson; ten great-grandchildren and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services are 11:00AM Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Living Word Church of God in Christ with Bishop Joe Mason, officiating. Pallbearers are Charles Moore, Willie Ashford, Michael J. Williams, Michael Williams, Curtis Tucker, Clinton Williams, Larry McPhearson, Renard Powell, Aubrey Oliver Jr., and Eddie Wafer. Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5:30PM-7:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
