Mrs. Martha Monday, 79 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was a native of Denison, TX, but had resided in Crossett for the past 19 years. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Felicia Kaye Felts, and her parents, Mervin and Edith Cook Chrisman. Mrs. Monday was a devoted wife and mother. She was a former member of East Side Baptist Church in Denison, TX, she taught Sunday School there for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mr. Otis Monday, one son, Ray Monday of Clearwater, FL, one daughter, Brenda Gail Henderson, husband David of Sherman, TX, four brothers: Tommy Chrisman, wife Adele of Sherman, TX, Jim Chrisman, wife Brenda & Jack Chrisman, wife Ruth both of Tyler, TX, Robert "Bob" Chrisman of Pittsburg, TX, two sisters, Glenda Renfroe, husband Mike of Missouri, Donna Brewer, husband Alvin of Mena, AR, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Graveside funeral services Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 2:30 pm at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Carlton White, officiating.

Visitation from 2:00 pm until funeral time Sunday at Rolfe Chapel Cemetery.
