Mr. Marion "Shank" Herron, 78, of Hermitage, AR, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Herron was a native of Montrose, AR, but a resident of Hermitage for the past month, and a retired pipeline worker.

He is survived by his wife, Bea Herron of Hermitage, AR, one son, Chad, wife Amber Herron of Shongaloo, LA, one daughter, Wendy Moore of Shongaloo, LA, three sisters, Marie Lynn of Portland, AR, Gertie Haley of El Dorado, AR & Eulene Breedlove of Bauxite, AR and four grandchildren: Cody Cole, Jonathan Brady, Chelsea Brady & Cayd Herron.

Graveside funeral services are Monday, September 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Montrose Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne Herron, Steve Allen Herron, Joey Warren, Wayne Morrison, Russ Morrison & Steve Johnson. Visitation Sunday, September 22, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Cromwell.
