Margie Evon Pamplin, age 69, of Hamburg, died Friday 23, 2018 at Ashley County Medical Center. She was a native of Houma, Lousiana and she was a homemaker. She was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Louise Adams-Deon, two brothers T-boy, Feliasha Deon. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed fishing and eating crawfish. She was survived by her husband of 49 years, James H. Pamplin; six sons, Donald Bergeron of Thibodaux, LA, James Kuhu of Decaptur, IL, James Bergeron, Houston Pamplin, James Pamplin Jr. and John Pamplin of Hamburg, AR; three daughters, Brenda Ricks "James" of Russellville, AR, Stacey Pamplin of Hamburg, AR, Clarissa Parks "Junior" of Crossett,AR; two step-sons Luke Pamplin "Kim" of Baywood, LA, Dean Pamplin "Mary" of Little Rock, AR; one step-daughter Crystal Hitt "Charles" of Raceland, LA; two sisters Rita Brown "Norris" and Maire Legrendo of Thibodaux, LA; twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Service Monday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m at Level Ground Fellowship Ministry with Rev. John Martin, officiating. Burial in Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jonathan Smith, Houston Pamplin, Michael Harris, James Bergeron, Shane Harris, and Wayne Pamplin. Visitation will be Sunday, March 25 from 4-6 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home.
