Margaret Marie "Dee Dee" Young, age 71 of Lake Village, AR, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Village and member of the Christian Liberty Baptist Church.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed watching old western movies, shopping and fishing.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gene Young; one son, Dwight Maddox; one daughter, Angela Spight; parents, Herman and Tessie Bryant-Taylor; four brothers, Lamar Cole, Larry Baker, Allen Bryant and Ricky Taylor; three sisters, Hazel Jackson, Barbara Smith and Maulene Taylor.

She is survived by one son, Fredrick Maddox of Racine, WI; one daughter, Mary Maddox-Williams (Robert) of Lake Village, AR; four sisters, Betty Martin (Bob) of Dayton, OH, Rosemary Taylor-Caldwell and Sylvia Hadley (Michael) both of Lake Village, AR and Sarah Jean Taylor of Fort Dodge, IA; seven brothers; Rev. Robert Taylor (Vanessa), Herman Taylor, Jr. (Irene) of Milwaukee, WI, Frank Baker of Little Rock, AR, Rev. Madia (Miya), Andrew Taylor (Chris), Myron Taylor, all of Fort Dodge, IA, Jerry Taylor (Paquita) of Jackson, MS; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 11:00AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Christian Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Robert E. Moore officiating. Pallbearers are Ed McCree, Robert Williams, David Wilson, Marcus Tucker, Lee Booth Spann and Cedrick Jackson.  Honorary Pallbearers are her brothers.  Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 6:30PM on Friday, February 23 ^rd at Christian Liberty Baptist Church.
