Mrs. Margaret Daniels-Jiles, 81 of Lacey, Arkansas, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Lacey, a former 40 year resident of Los Angeles, CA and she had lived in Lacey for the past 30 years. She was a retired showroom designer and a member of Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Esther Jo Smith Daniels, two brothers, Willie Daniels, Jr. and Terry Daniels. Mrs. Jiles enjoyed sewing, working crossword puzzles, planting, and growing flowers. More than anything else, she loved her grandchildren as well as being around and spending quality time with them. Her greatest pleasure was the first cup of morning coffee with her sister, Mae Sue.
She is survived by one son, Mark Da'von Graham of Compton, CA, four daughters: Carolyn Faye Royal, husband Warren of Los Angels, CA, Victoria Streeter Rasshan, husband Khalif of Chino Hills, CA, Sharon Joya "Cookie" Christopher, husband Garry of Eilat, Israel, and Arlethea Jiles, husband Frank Harris of Monticello, AR, one sister, Mae Sue Thomas of Lacey, Arkansas, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
Memorial services are Friday, July 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church with Rev. Jesse Washington officiating. Honorary pallbearers are her son, grandsons, sons-in-law and trustees of Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church.
