Mrs. Mamie Ruth Hurndon, age 59, of Crossett, died Wednesday at Life Touch Hospice House in El Dorado, AR. Mrs. Hurndon was a native of Crossett, a Baptist, and a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by son, Joseph Hubbard, father, Albert Hubbard, and sister, Mary Hubbard. She is survived by her husband of 13 yrs, Cordell Edwards of Crossett, two sons, Melvin Hurndon, Jr., and Cordell Edwards, Jr., of Crossett; daughter, Tina Marie Hurndon of Kenosha, WI; mother, Katie Graves of Kenosha, WI; two brothers, Curtis Watkins of Tampa, FL, and Frankie Lee Tillis of Kenosha, WI, and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday 1 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Radford officiating. Pallbearers are Felton Williams, Charles Moore, Tony Barnett, Joe Williams, Patrick Nalls, and Melvin Nalls. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home.
