Mrs. Mamie Lee Dupree, 93, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at John R Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado. Mrs. Dupree was a native of Oxford, MS, but a resident of Hamburg for the past 63 years, a homemaker, and a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny & Ora Lee Brown Johnson. She is survived by one son, Jerry Don & wife, Gustava Baker of Kansas City, MO, one step-son, Frank Marshall Dupree of Lake Village, AR, two daughters, Novella Dunum of Hamburg, Valco Dupree & husband, Billy Peters, of Chesapeake, VA, 3 grandchildren, Judy Smith, Zeolana Peters, & Quiera Peters, 1 great-grandchild, Patrick Foreman, & 6 gg-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, 6-7 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services are Tuesday, November 17, at 1 p.m., Mt Zion Baptist Church, with Rev Willie R Taylor officiating. Pallbearers are Ephraim Johnson, Johnny Dupree, Morris Richardson, Alfred Robinson, Cornelius Girtman, Charles Dunn, Lawrence Booker & Clarence Haynes. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons & Trustees of Mt Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
