Mrs. Lynn Marie Stephens, age 79, of Houston, TX passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, AR while visiting family for the Holidays. She was a native of Hallsville, TX, a homemaker, and a member of Trinity Gardens Church of Christ in Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Stephens, her parents, John and Rachel Fuller-Adkins, one son, Harold , Jr., five brothers, Lorenzo, Horatio, John Henry, Glenn and Harry Adkins, three sisters, Harriet Williams, Rachel Howard and Zephyr Pruitt. Mrs. Stephens loved to read, watch television and attend the activities and outings of the J.C Jester Senior Citizen facility and Trinity Gardens Church of Christ senior citizens. In her golden years, she enjoyed traveling and shopping. Her favorite trips included a visit to the White House in Washington, D.C. and cruising the Caribbean. Above all, she enjoyed traveling to Arkansas to spend time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Stephanie Wilson husband Dr. Alan of Crossett, AR; Sherrill Stephens of Houston, TX; six grandchildren: Lauren Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson-Gayfield husband Quentin, Christopher Wilson, Christian Wilson and Caleb Wilson, one great-granddaughter: Gabriela Wilson, two special nieces: Faith Daniels and Rachel McNelty, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Westside Church of Christ, 109 N Georgia Street, Crossett, AR 71635 with Min. Timothy Daniels, officiating. Pallbearers are Raymond Clark, Thomas Morrison, Darien Johnson, Roderick Kidd, Johnny Dupree and Don Streeter. Honorary Pallbearers are the Brothers of Trinity Garden Church of Christ in Houston, TX. Burial in Pinewood Memorial Park in Crossett, AR.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6:00PM-7:00PM at Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
