Mrs. Lula Rea Winn, 75 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of the Mt. Olive community in Bradley Co., AR, a former resident of Altadena, CA for 43 years and a Crossett resident for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Chris & Eula Mae Hampton Martin, two brothers, Robert & John T. Martin and two sisters, Dorothy Martin Moore & Maylene Martin.

Mrs. Winn was a member of Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church and was a loving wife, mother and aunt. She enjoyed shopping and looking for bargains.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, George Winn, one son, Ronnie Winn of Altadena, CA, two sisters, Georgia Jones of the Mt. Olive community, Bradley County, AR, Ruby Crockett, husband David of Pasadena, CA, one grandson, Ronnie Winn, Jr., a niece and nephew she raised as her own, Stephen Jones and Brittany Kidd both of Crossett, and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 11:00 am at Gates Chapel A.M.E. Church with Rev. Harold White, officiating. Visitation Monday, September 10, 2012 from 6-7 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Larry Rogers, James Adams, Levell Ashley, Stephen Jones, Curtis Harris & Herman Newton. Burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bradley County under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
