Ms. Luella Ross, 83, of Lake Village, AR, died Friday, November 15, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake Village, AR, a retired certified nurse's assistant, having worked at Beverly Nursing Lodge and Our Lady of the Lake for a number of years and a member of Zion Temple Church of God In Christ.

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gloriasten Ross; her parents, Nep and Luella Howard-Ross; one brother, William Henry Ross; five sisters, Jelleaner Moore, Virginia Ford, Rosie Akins, Laura Bolden, and Ruth McClaim.  Ms. Ross was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was a very compassionate person who believed in helping and giving.  She showed her love by helping wherever she could.  She enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by eight sons, Earnest Ross, wife Gwen, of McComb, MS, Charles Ross, wife Joanna, of Greenville, MS, Dwight Childs, wife Joyce, of Jackson, MS, Dennis Jackson, wife Ira, of Birmingham, AL, Roy Ray Jackson, of Lake Village, AR, Tracy Fields, wife Maria, of Eudora, AR, Ricky Fields, wife Tequilla, and Johnny Fields, wife Lakeia, both of Conway, AR; one daughter, Delois Gantt, husband David, of Lake Village, AR; one God daughter, KeSha Haney; two sisters, Dorothy Ross of Lake Village, AR and Daphne Butler, of Indianapolis, In; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, 2019, 11:00 am, at Central Baptist Church, 402 Annex Street Lake Village, AR, with Supt. Charles Taylor officiating.  Active Pallbearers are Antonio Brown, Quentin Gantt, Quincy Wallace, David Gantt III, Johnny Fields, and Eric Jefferson.  Honorary Pallbearers are her sons and son in law.  Burial in New Cemetery.
