Lucy Scott, age 54, of Portland, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at her home.  She was a life-long resident of Portland,  a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Annie Bell Rice-Scott and three brothers, Andrew, Gilbert and A.W. Scott.  Lucy loved her family and spending time with them.  She also enjoyed music.

The family of Ms. Lucy Scott would like to give a special thanks to Sammie Collins for always being there to help her when she needed it most and GPS Gin Company.

Ms. Lucy Scott is survived by her daughter, Eboni Scott of Portland; two brothers, Eddie Ross of Portland and Earn D. Scott (Mary) of Dermott; four sisters, Ella Poltie (Sammie) of Portland, Alene Scott of Crossett, Francis Scott Lancaster of Milwaukie, WI and Erma Lee (Jack) of Columbus, OH and a host of other family and friends.  Services are Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cromwell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jack Woods officiating.  Burial will be in the Portland #2 Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Dennis Hampton, Leo Hampton, Jonathan Webb, Ricardo Herron, Kordale Brown and Rodney Brown.  Honorary Pallbearers are Portland High School Class of 1981.
