Mrs. Lucille Goodwin, age 87, of Crossett, AR, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at her home in Crossett, AR. Mrs. Goodwin was a native of Dermott, AR but a resident of Crossett for the past 59 years, a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She sang with the New Bethel Sr. Choir,was a member of New Bethel Mission Ministry #1, and was a Deaconess. She loved cooking and she was known as the neighborhood grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jefferson "AJ" Goodwin, her parents, Frank and Louise Williams Randolph and 14 siblings.

She is survived by one son, Albert J. Goodwin, Jr. (Cynthia), of Crossett, Ar, four grandchildren, Micheal Goodwin-Pulmer, Michelle Robinson, Chauncey Goodwin and Tavae J. "T.J." Goodwin, seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Radford, Jr. officiating.

Pallbearers are James Phifer, Solomon Phifer, Andra Webb, Jimmy Thorthon, Byron Nelson, and Kelvin Durby. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, nephews, New Bethel Sr. Choir, New Bethel Ladies Sunday School Class and Mission Ministry #1.

Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home.
