Obituary

Mrs. Louvinia Simpson, 78 of Lacey, AR died Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. Mrs. Simpson was a native of Lacey, AR. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Lacey, AR. Her first love was the Lord, her family and church. She had a great passion for cooking, fishing, gardening and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years: Mack Charles Simpson; Parents: Mr. Willie and Ruthie Franklin Wilson; Three brothers: Dale, Adolphus and William Wilson; One sister: Lilian Riley.

She is survived by four sons: Jerry Don Simpson and wife Cassandra of Lacey, Laron Simpson of Crossett, James Earl Simpson and wife Janice of Monticello, Marvin Dewayne Simpson and wife Joyce of Pine Bluff; Three daughters: Carol Ann Moore and husband Leon of Monticello, Twylia Palmer and husband Johnny of Warren, Dewanda Denise Strong and husband Michael of Lacey; Four brothers: Earston Wilson and wife Wanda of Monticello, Ordolph Wilson and wife Nazaree of Fountain Hill, Willie Earl Wilson and wife Elsie of Fountain Hill, Willie Charles and wife Mildred of Fountain Hill. Sixteen grand children and thirty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, AR at 11:00 with Rev. Charles James and Rev. James Simpson officiating. Pallbearers are Kasey Simpson, Chance Simpson, Miqael Strong, Keith Moore, Corey Moore, Tavares Simpson, Robert Wilson and Brian Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are the deacons and officers of First Baptist Church in Lacey, Arkansas. Interment will be at Lacey Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
