Mrs. Louise Canley, 74 of Crossett, AR, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock. She was a native of El Dorado, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 66 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C.

Mrs. Canley was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Elgin Canley, her parents, Norman and Mae Etta Foreman Adkins, and one sister. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts.

She is survived by three sons: Eld. Allen Canley of Memphis, TN, Terry L. Adkins, wife Tangerine of Los Angeles, CA, Aubrey Canley of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Marita L. Sykes of Memphis, TN, one brother, Eld. Charles Adkins, wife Sharon of Crossett, AR, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral services are Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Eld. Allen Canley & Eld. Robert Rudolph, officiating. Pallbearers are Chad Johnson, Edric Danzy, Kenny Ray Lewis, Robert Thompson, Johnathan Canley, Mark Danzy, Terry Adkins & Raphael Adkins. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
