Obituary

Mrs. Lou Willie Callins, 82 of Crossett, AR, died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. Mrs. Callins was a native of Hamburg, AR, but a resident of Crossett, a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill, and a member of First Baptist Church on Florida Street. She was preceded in death by a son, Alonzo "Pete" Harris, her parents, Terry & Artie Lee Haynes Callins, six sisters: Mildred Smith, Mary Tucker, Floydie Walker, Mary Robinson, Beatrice Williams & Rosie Tatum & two brothers: Louis & Jimmy Terry Callins.

She is survived by one son, Marvin Harris of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Patricia Harris of Crossett, AR, one brother, Horace, wife Dorothy Morrison of Carthage, AR, three sisters, Mattie Jean Hampton of Compton, CA, Mable Harris of Washington, DC & Betty Ruth, husband Alvin Tynes of Los Angeles, CA, eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services are Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Evandrew Washington officiaing. Pallbearers are Grover C. Bell, Prezell Jamerson, Jimmy Smith, Ronald Morris, Gary Morris & George Jacob. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie King, Andrew Allen, Lonnie Walker, Ulish Haynes, Jr., & Preston Girtman, Jr. Burial in Phillip Grove Cemetery.
