Obituary

Lottie Mae Haskin, age 74 of Wilmot, AR, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, a retired custodian and a member of the Greater Life Cathedral Apostolic Church in Wilmot.

Mrs. Haskin was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Warner and Alma Lee Peters-Smith; two brothers, John L. King and Lee Andrew Smith. Mrs. Haskin enjoyed reading, shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Curtis Haskin; two sons, Curtis Haskin, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH and Gerald Haskin of Wilmot; six daughters, Alma Strickland (Kenneth) of Toledo, OH, Sandra Brown (Wilbert) of Little Rock, AR, Carolyn Robinson (Frankie) of Monroe, LA, Valinda Haskin-Rollins of Pine Bluff, AR, Latoshia Haskin of Hamburg, AR and Connie Mosley of Bryant, AR; Two sisters, Tommie Harris and Rosa White (Moses) both of Toledo, OH; one brother, Felton Benton (Milrean) of Toledo, OH; sixteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Services are 11:00am Saturday, October 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Wilmot with Bishop Thomas Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Jim Smith Cemetery in Wilmot. Visitation will be 5:30-7:00pm on Friday.  Pallbearers are Kelsey Haskin, Kiyon Johnson, Demetre Brown, Adrian Brown, Bruce Rollins, Jr., Frankie Robinson, Jr. and Cameron Robinson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Strickland, Wilbert Brown, Felton Benton, Frankie Robinson and Moses White.
