Lonnie Martin, 67 of Wilmot, AR, transitioned Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mainline Health Systems in Wilmot, AR.  He was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, AR, and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Lee Martin, a sister, Marcella Smith Watkins, and a brother, Tommy Simmons.  Lonnie enjoyed walking, watching wrestling,  basketball and football. He loved sitting around socializing and joking with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jean Smith of Wilmot, AR, one brother, Donnie Martin of Wilmot, AR,  two sisters, Glenda Diggs and husband Dale of Wilmot, AR, and Frankie Jean Smith of Little Rock, AR, and several other relatives and friends.

Viewing is Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Cromwell Funeral Home 4:00-5:00 P.M. Funeral service is Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR, with Rev. Albert Fenceroy officiating. Active pallbearers are Charles Raino, Hubert Smith, Clyde Ramey, Donnie Robinson, Alvin Lewis, and Dewayne Watt. Burial in Jim Smith Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
