Mrs. Linda Marie Morrison, 63, of Wilmot, AR, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. She was a life-long resident of Wilmot and a homemaker. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Wilmot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Morrison; her mother, Dora Lee Green Dawson; one sister, Lois McClendon; and one brother, Leon Whaley, Jr. She is survived by one son, Fabbion Whaley, of St. Joseph, MO; seven daughters: Ethal Brooks & husband, Otis, of Milwaukee, WI; Shirley Carolina of Little Rock, AR, Angela Carolina, Loretta Carolina, Carolyn Carolina, Kathryn Whaley, all of St. Joseph, MO; Erika Smith, of Wilmot; parents: father, Leon Whaley, and step-mother, Deloris Whaley, of Crossett; seven brothers: Oscar Sellar of Wilmot, Arthur Dawson, Nelson Dawson, Donald Dawson & wife, Michelle, Bobby Dawson, Ricky Dawson, all of St. Joseph, MO; and Carl Whaley of Crossett; seven sisters: Gwendolyn Oshburn of Wilmot; Mildred Butler & husband, Gerald, of Little Rock; Betty Moore, Ruby Jewel Whaley, Helen Morris, Cheryl Whaley, Alicia Whaley, all of Crossett; thirty-four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Wilmot, with Rev. Greg Baker and Rev. Louis Brown, Jr., officiating. Pallbearers are John Metcalf, Hubert Smith, Roger Bankston, Charles Ranio, Willie Penn and Albert Dunn. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. in Hamburg.
