Stanley Jr.
August 23, 1956 – July 9, 2021
Levell "Boe" Stanley Jr., age 64, of Hamburg, AR, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 at his residence in Hamburg. He was a native of Parkdale, AR, but lived most of his life in Hamburg. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ Holiness, where he served as a Deacon.
He is preceded in death by a son Eric S. Woods, October 2020; his parents father Levell Stanley Sr., 1983 and his mother Mabel Stanley, 1974; maternal grandmother Ozell Day, 2014; two brothers James Stanley, 1999 and Johnny "Dumas" Stanley, December 2020; a sister Pearletha Freda Ray, 1992.
Levell, who he was compassionately called "Boe", was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his church. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, playing dominoes and cards. He loved building things. "Boe" was always telling jokes and loved to make people laugh. He was a fun guy to be around.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Hazel Stanley; a son Levell Stanley III (Melicia) of Portland, OR; three daughters Lashundra Stanley of Hamburg, AR, Lakeita Hill and Renesha Stanley both of Crossett, AR; two sisters Jacqulyn Cason of Hamburg, Kim Barnes of Biscoe, AR; three brothers Billy Ray Stanley, Glen "Dusty" Stanley (Ada) both of Hamburg, AR, Robert "Maine" Stanley (Romona) of Crossett, AR; nine grandchildren Lamarco Harris, Levell Stanley IV, Derrick Webb Jr., Isaiah Stanley, Reniya Webb, Alex Jenkins, Jayla Jackson, Damon Stanley, Aiden Franklin; a great grandson Gabriel Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance in Hamburg, AR with Rev. Dantony Square officiating. Pallbearers are Derek Molette Jr., YT "Butch" Singleton, Clyde Leonard, Ed Brown, Walter Jenkins, Ronald Hubbard, Mickey Tolbert, and Timmy Downs. Honorary Pallbearers are Shaw Hunting Club and Hamburg High School Class of 1975.
Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Hamburg, AR.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg, AR from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
