Mr. Leon "Sonny" Robinson, Jr., 56 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Pinewood Health & Rehabilitation in Crossett. He was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church and had served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Sr. & Eula Mae Green Robinson and one sister, Ramona Robinson. Leon was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying horseback riding, fishing and baseball.

He is survived by two sons: Leon Robinson III of Compton, CA, Patrick Robinson of Nevada City, CA, four brothers, Carl Edward Robinson & Ricky Todd Robinson, wife Cheryl all of Crossett, AR, Terry Charles Robinson, wife Belinda of Reseda, CA, and Darryl Raye Robinson of Sacramento, CA, three sisters, Angelia Tucker of Monroe, LA, Hazel Robinson of Los Angeles, CA and Shelia Williams, husband Leroy of Oakland, CA and five grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services are Monday, August 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Radfod, Jr.officiating. Pallbearers are A.J. Hampton, Cedric Tucker, Morris Richardson, Anthony Robinson, Lee Nimmer and Renard Powell. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
