Mr. Lee Edward Brown, 52 of Crossett, AR, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Ashley County Medical Center. Mr. Brown was a native of Wilmot, AR, but a resident of Crossett for the past 10 years, a former employee of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill & American Cleaning Service, and was a member of Union Baptist Church in Wilmot. He was preceded in death by one son, Tavarers Jenkins, his parents, Willie James & Dora Smith Brown, one brother, Willie James Brown, Jr., and one sister Janice Mae Robinson.

He is survived by one son, Carmon Devonte Brown of Crossett, AR, one daughter, Letoya Mitchell of Lake Village, AR, seven brothers: Hosey, wife Kathay Brown of Phoenix, AZ, Johnny Mack, wife Willie Jean Brown & Billy Ray, wife Dorothy Brown all of Crossett, AR, Donnie Brown of Pine Bluff, AR & Donald, wife Helen Brown, Calvin Brown & Tommy, wife Beatrice Brown all of Wilmot, AR, four sisters, Daisy Stokes of Los Angeles, CA, Carolyn, husband Jimmy Stanley & Mary McAdoo all of Wilmot, AR & Gerdie, husband Kenneth Goodwin of Gary, IN and two grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Theodis Brown, officiating. Visitation Friday from 6-7 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Larry Rogers, Randy Brown, Ricky Brown, Jimmy Stanley, Walter Hill & Greg Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin, Donnie, Donald, Billy Ray, Johnny Mack, Tommy & Hosey Brown. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
