Lawrence Tippie, age 93, of Hamburg died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Drew Memorial in Monticello, Ar.  Mr. Tippie was a native of Wilmot and a retiree of Georgia Pacific Paper Mill also a member of Soldiers Chapel AME Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Jean Tippie(2017), his parents William and Annie Bartley Tippie, a brother Rile Tippie, three sisters Mildred Mays, Bernice Foster and Doris Jean Scott. Mr. Tippie was a very well known, social person who loved talking and visiting with his friends.

He is survived by three sons Lawrence Tippie Jr.(wife Phyllis of Desoto, Tx.), Larry Tippie(wife Monica) and Utroy Tippie both of Hamburg, one daughter, Jacqueline Gibson, three brothers, Leslie Tippie(Bastrop, La.), Charles Paskel(wife Pamela, Hamburg), and Wallace Thomas(wife Cibil, Fantana, Ca.), eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.

Walk through viewing, Friday, January 22 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be Saturday January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cromwell Funeral Home with Bishop Alfonzo Madden officiating. Pallbearers are Carl Lewis, Robert Thompson, Terry Rucker, Shuron Jenkins, Walter Jenkins.

Burial will be in Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Hamburg.
