Laura Irene Parker, age 90 of Crossett, formerly of Henderson, TX, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at her home. Laura was a member of The Church of Christ on Pine Street in Crossett. She retired from Wal-Mart, Inc. in Henderson, TX. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crocheting and sewing.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband James Helm Parker, two daughters Jamie Parker and Linda Lawrence, her parents, Edgar and Laura Frances Dungan Parker, six brothers: Artie Lee, Clarence, Kenneth, Harold, Olan and Jimmy Rodgers, four sisters: Maybell Staneart, Elizabeth Hutchinson, Janet Hammond and Helen Jo Rodgers.

She is survived by one daughter Frances Teutsch (Joe) of Crossett, AR, two sisters: Ola Maye Owens of Chowchilla, CA and Iva Faye Weaver of Henderson, TX, nine grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday, October 27th at 2:00 pm at Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, TX under the directions of Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery in Henderson, TX.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8pm at Crawford A. Crim Funeral Home.
