Miss Laquinta Mashea Jackson, 25, of Crossett, AR died Friday, April 26, 2013 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Crossett, a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C.

Miss Jackson was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Finis Martin. She was a 2006 graduate of Crossett High School. She loved making people smile. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with her cousins, long talks with her grandfather & playing monopoly and cards with her grandmother.

She is survived by her mother, Shaunda Davis, husband Terry of Yuma, AZ, her father, Corey Martin of Crossett, her maternal grandparents (also her adoptive parents) Willie & Gertie Jackson of Crossett, AR, eight brothers: Myron Jackson, wife Catrell of San Antonio, TX, Scottie Jackson of Victorville, CA, Benji Barnes of Boston, MA, Jamon Jackson, wife Arlisa of Hamburg, AR, James Jackson of Crestview, FL, Marlon Jackson, wife Vicky of Euless, TX, Broderick Jackson & Mario Plummer both of Crossett, six sisters: Joyce Jackson of Victorville, CA, Tina Jackson, Trina Ellis, husband Derrick, Daleisha Jackson & Kerri Rochelle all of Crossett, AR, Markisha Smith, husband Bryan of Longview, TX, paternal grandmother, Vernell Martin, two special nephews, Triston Smith, Brayden Jackson and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and loved ones.

Funeral services are Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Davis Memorial C.O.G.I.C. with Supt. Rick Matheney officiating. Pallbearers are Bryan Rogers, Delvin Clark, Jalen Jackson, Marquez Gaston, Alex Harrington and Devon Jackson. Honorary pallbearers are her brothers. Burial in Westview Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.

Visitation from 6-8 pm Monday, April 29 at the Funeral Home.
