Lajuana Diane "Tinny" Jackson, age 52 of Little Rock, AR, transitioned December 14, 2023 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR. She was a native of Wilmot, AR but a resident of Little Rock for several years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and she loved the Lord. She was a veteran's service representative at Veterans Benefits Administration at Fort Roots in North Little Rock, AR.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather Robert Dean, her mother Inell Jackson Dean Mayfield (2020), and brother Deon Lindsey (2020). Lajuana was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and attending social gatherings. She was Grand Worthy Matron of Trinity Grand Chapter AF&AM of Oklahoma.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son Darrion Roshaud Kitchen of Jacksonville, FL, daughter LaQuodreia Lavon Kitchen of Little Rock, AR, her father Robert Sherrer Jr. of Little Rock, AR, stepfather Kevin Mayfield Sr. of Wilmot, AR, nine brothers Rodney Dean (Tracy) of CA, Michael Moore (Monique), Christopher Sherrer, Kentrell Lindsey, Keith Lindsey, Robert Sherrer III, Daniel Rinck, all of Little Rock, AR, Camareo Goodwin of Fayetteville, AR, and Kevin Mayfield Jr of Dallas, TX, five sisters, Latrice Dean, Jaquita Moore (Trent) both of Little Rock, AR, Mashona "Bobbie" Jackson of Alexander, AR, Katrina Brown, of Dallas, TX, and Felicia Mayfield of Jacksonville, AR, a granddaughter Alora Raybn Kitchen, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday December 23, 2023, at 11:00 A. M. at First Baptist Church in Wilmot, AR, with Pastor Dewayne Lindsey officiating. Active Pallbearers are Steve Gilbert, Mike Johnson, Telly Mitchell, Deon Wallace, Quincey Shepherd, and Willie Sanders Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Nicholas McHomes, Roosevelt Hadley, Charles Honorable, the Most Worshipful United Grand Lodge of Oklahoma, and Hamburg High School Class of 1989. Burial at Second Baptist Cemetery in Wilmot, AR under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home Inc of Hamburg.
Visitation at First Baptist Church 2015 Main St., North Little Rock, AR, Thursday December 21, 2023, 3:30-6:30 P. M. There will be a family hour from 5:00-6:30.
