Mr. Kelvin Charles Hamm died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop, Louisiana. He was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed by Steve Bolin Logging Company. He was preceded in death by his mother: Lottie Mae Peterson Legg, his maternal grandfather, and his paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years: Teresa K. Hamm of Bastrop, Louisiana; two sons: Jacob and Jerrod Hamm of West Monroe, Louisiana; three daughters: Sarah Smith of West Monroe, Louisiana, Jessica Hamm of Abbeville, Louisiana, and Jenni Hamm of Cut Off, Louisiana; three step-daughters: Amy Ford and husband James, and Cari Jo Parker both of Crossett, Arkansas; and Kristin Pullin and husband Jamie of Bastrop, Louisiana; his father Paul Hamm and wife Gale of West Monroe , Louisiana; two brothers: Frankie Watt and wife Nina of Houston, Texas, and Willie Watt, Jr. of Hamburg, Arkansas; two sisters: Teresa Watt of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jenifer Legg of Lafayette, Louisiana; a special mother-in-law: Hughlen Rice of Crossett, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 2:00P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Watt officiating. Pallbearers are James Ford, Arron Rice, Sherman Kimball, Brandon Kilcrease, Damon Springer, and Jimmy Defee. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00P.M. at Cromwell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg Arkansas.
