Mrs. Kattie Frances Bell, 61, of Crossett, AR, died Monday, September 15, 2014 at Baptist Health Hospital in North Little Rock, AR. She was born on October 14, 1952 in Hamburg, AR. She was a former office manager and was a member of Soldiers Chapel A.M.E. Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Hattie Mae Bunton Brown, two brothers, Larry "Terry" Brown & Dan Brown and two sisters, Versie Mae Colbert & Ruby Jewel Robinson. Kattie was an outgoing, friendly "people" person. She loved her family and friends dearly.
She is survived by two sons, Carlton Brown of Crossett, AR, Rory Bell of Little Rock, AR, one daughter, Elbony Bell of Little Rock, AR, two brothers, Charles Brown, wife Sula of Magnolia, AR, Ronney Brown of Little Rock, AR, two sisters, Shellia Ann Lawson, husband Charles & Sandra Faye Bedford all of Crossett, AR, adopted sister, Vickie Scott, husband Michael of Crossett, AR, three grandchildren, Kylon Brown, Rory Bell, Jr. & Jayden Randle, her former husband, Ricky Bell of Little Rock, AR, and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services are Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Levi Tolefree, Rev. Marvin Scott & Rev. Willie R. Taylor, officiating. Active pallbearers are Steven Brown, Mitch Brown, Marcus Brown, Eric Brown, Carlton Burns & Orlando Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Scott, Lee Simpson, Curtis Harris, James Adams, James Tucker, Lawrence Cromwell, Willie "Bo Pete" Shaw, Sylvester Hampton and Thomas Tolefree. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6-8 pm in the Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel.
