Ms. Karen Ann Gant, 57, of Lake Village, AR died Tuesday, June 11, 2019, surrounded by her family, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake Village, a former employee of Beverly Enterprise for 20 years, and a supervisor at McDonald's for 10 years.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lueverda Gant; her father, Causey D. Sharp, Sr.; one brother, Michael Gant; and her grandparents, Burnell and Leedell Sharp.  Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend.  She was a very caring person and was loved by all that knew her.

She is survived by one son, Seimon Jones, of Lake Village, AR; two daughters, Kimberly Gantt, of Shreveport, LA and Latisa Mitchell, of Lake Village, AR; three adopted daughters, Alicia Wilson and Carveyeta Walker-Bridges, both of Lake Village, AR and Ekara Mitchell, of Kingsville, TX,; two adopted sons, Arlando Wilson, wife Patricia, of Lake Village, AR, Anniah Jackson, of Las Vegas, NV and Eddie Michell Jr. of Huntsville, AL; five sisters, Barbara Johnson, husband George, Rebecca Gantt-Fulford, both of Lake Village, AR,  Durby Sanders, husband Eddie, and Equilla Gantt, husband Reco, both of Shreveport, LA, and Linda Lue Scott, of Texas; two brothers, David Gantt, wife Deloris, of Lake Village, AR and Causey D. Sharp Jr., of Gautier, MS; one God sister, Ruth Holmes, of Lake Village, AR; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Thursday, June 20, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at New Hope Baptist Church, 518 St. Mary Street, in Lake Village, AR, with Elder Ceaser P. King officiating.  Active Pallbearers are Selento Miller, James Aurberry, John Owens, Lonnie Palmer, Marlando Phillips, Ervin Brown, Gerald Armour, and Houston Grant.  Honorary Pallbearers are Seimon Jones Sr., Seimon Jones, Jr., Causey Sharp, Eddie Sanders, George Johnson, Benny Mosley, Eddie Mitchell, Arlando Wilson, Anniah Jackson, David Gantt, Darrell Gant, Rodriquez Kennon, and Gordon Brown.  Burial in New Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, 5-7:00 p.m., at the New Hope Baptist Church.
